Reduce the bulge.

CoolSculpting® is FDA-cleared to treat 9 different areas of the body: visible bulges under the chin and jawline areas, thighs, abdomen and flanks, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arms.

PROVEN SCIENCE

What is stubborn fat?

  • The number of fat cells is set during childhood and adolescence and varies little during adulthood.
  • Some individuals may have stubborn pockets of fat that are more difficult to reduce despite diet and exercise.
  • These stubborn pockets may vary greatly from person to person, because we all carry fat in different areas of our bodies.

Farewell treated fat cells.

It’s technical name is cryolipolysis, which is just a scientific way to say fat freezing. CoolSculpting® experts spent years developing the treatment, which features one-of-a-kind technology that quite literally freezes and kills fat cells.

Proven science and real results.

CoolSculpting’s fat-freezing technology gives long-term results that make trouble spots a lot less troubling.* Fat cells don’t like the cold and at a certain temperature they will freeze. Once that happens, your body will naturally eliminate the dead cells in 1-3 months or more, resulting in up to 20%-25% reduction of fat in a treated area.

*Long term results are based on two case reports.

UNDERSTANDING FAT LOSS

Losing weight doesn’t always lead to a more sculpted appearance—but fat reduction can change the shape and contours of your body.

How fat cells work.

The number of fat cells is set during childhood and adolescence. That number varies little in adulthood. The number of fat cells is specific to you and varies from person to person

So what happens when your weight fluctuates?

When you start to gain weight, those fat cells expand, which in turn causes your waistline (and hips, and double chin, and thighs) to expand. When you eat healthy and exercise regularly, those fat cells shrink to give a slimmer and trimmer shape. If you stop those healthy habits, they will expand again, adding unwanted bulges.

What happens to treated fat cells?

CoolSculpting®, using cryolipolysis technology, is a noninvasive treatment that targets and freezes fat cells, resulting in up to 20-25% fat reduction in the treated areas.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s an idea of what you can expect at your first treatment.

Get prepped.

Tess will apply a clear gel pad to the treatment area. This creates a barrier between the cooling panel and your skin. Clinical trials have demonstrated CoolSculpting® to be safe and effective in reducing fat in certain areas.

Let science go to work.

You’ll feel a slight sucking sensation as the applicator adheres to your body. During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. See additional important safety information below.

And chill.

During the treatment you will be able to read, answer emails, or chat with a friend. After the applicator is detached, Tess will do a brief massage on the area to break up the treated fat cells and enhance the fat reduction. That’s it! Most patients experience little to no downtime after treatment.

One treatment with CoolSculpting® reduces up to 20-25% of fat cells in the treated area.

You may need more than one treatment to reach your desired results and get the most out of your CoolSculpting® experience.
